air duct

i just ordered a new case and it has a air duct and i was wondering what type of CPU cooler would best utilize the air duct and would i even see a cooler numbers or is the air ducts all for show here is the case by the wayhere and thanks in advance for all the help
 
The duct just allows better direction of airflow from outside the case to the heatsink/fan.
 
My case has a similar duct. I measured the distance between the end of the duct and the cpu fan and then elongated the duct with some cardboard so that it presses almost up against the cpu fan so the cpu fan draws air from mostly outside the case. I don't remember exactly what temperature drop I got but I think it was somewhere around 5 degrees. Without the duct the cpu fan is pulling in only hot air from being over the video card and also being on the top half of the case (hottest half). It can also help redirect some of the rising hot air from the video card around the duct and out the rear exhaust fan.
 
my case came with a adjustable duct and i pulled it almost all the way to the cpu and i saw almost 5 degree change 2 so yay air duct it most defiantly makes a difference
