Airflow question

i couldnt agree more with doing actual hard temperature A/B testing, to get the best result.
I was amazed at how my own theory on my case was disproved by testing.

It doesnt take long you can get an acurate ambient probe from an electronics shop its a good little investment :)

The 7000 is a puller fan, blows air into the heatsink. Since the back fan and the top fan exhaust. All three are fighting for air. Best bet would be getting a better upright CPU cooler. Since turning the case fans around would screw the case air flow up.

First one is better for 2 reasons, 1st as someone mentioned before you want the airflow to be just that. If air is coming from front and back it would not be flowing real well, it would come to a stop in the middle and go in all different directions. The other reason is that hot air will be coming out of your power suppply, rising up and being sucked into your rear fan back onto your cpu. Also I could be wrong but it would seem that the air up against the wall would be warmer then air coming from the middle of the room with montiors and speakers and everything usually being pushed back toward the wall. That is 1 reason I've never liked the idea of rear intake fans.

Wow never thought that a simple quesiton would end up as a 3 page thread with discussions on what my heatsink does and a spam posr
