Alcohol 120%

Can i use Alcohol 120% to burn my own games, such as battlefield, Doom 3 etc onto the hard drive then burning the image onto disk. Will this work if the game is protected?

ya sure that's the point to using a program like alcohol in the first place :-)..

I'm going to mention this as "BACKUP PURPOSES ONLY" but it may get deleted anyhow :-).. You can burn such a game like that with Nero and it'll burn OK with a straight copy but you'll need to apply a NO-CD patch after installing the game in order to play it.. you can find such patch's on the internet you just have to google it.

Well considering Doom3 is what SD3.20 .... you dont "just" use A120 and back it up :P For starters you'll need a 2-sheep burner (and to know what that means and how it plays a role, especially with SD protections) :) That makes things exciting :P
 
Well i'm not sure what a 2-sheep burner is but i've backed up doom3 with my LG 48x24x48x dvd combo drive.

Oh ya Nero was used.
