Alder lake build

Hi all, hoping for some opinions on a new Alder lake build, trying to obviously balance cost with performance

No gaming, most intensive activities photo & video editing and a lot of file transfer between drives

My main undecided points are cpu and ddr4 or ddr5

Below is possible build i put together

MSI MPG Z690 EDGE WIFI
I5 12600K
MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R
32GB CORSAIR VENG RGB PRO DDR4 3600MHZ or 16GB ADATA XPG LANCER DDR5 5200MHZ
SAMSUNG 980 PRO 250GB
MSI SPATIUM M480 1TB
ANTEC EARTHWATTS GOLD 750W
MSI MPG VELOX 100R CASE

Get some low timing DDR4 and you should be fine

I was thinking of having a semi future proof system by getting a ddr5 board, so I could get either 8 or 16gb ddr5 just to get running now until the early system problems have been solved and prices are down
