All games crash after 5 sec

Hello

I have a strange problem with my laptop. Lately when I start a game (any game with CD), my laptop will run the program and open it for like 3-5 sec, and then shut it down so I'm at the start page of my computer again. However, if I restart my computer to few days ago, there is no problem. I can then play my games with no problem for some days, and then the problem will appear again where after I need to restart it back in time again. How come, and what can I do about it??

Now you said when you start a game by cd, do you also have some games that play without the cd? like when using steam, and what kind of games are we talking? And is the problem the same when running games without a cd?
 
Most likely a windows update is causing the issue. Find out what updates are being installed and try to figure out which one it is.
 
It is the same with CD and without, but otherwise it is any game such as Diablo 3 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3.
 
Yes you might be right because it seem to be after a certain windows update the problem appears. Is there any way I can prevent this update or delete it?
