all-in-one can't communicate

ok i have a lexmark all-in-one x1100 series but whenever i try to print it says the printer can't communicate with the computer

i have tried everything i can think of:

checked all the cables

restarted the computer

and many other things

please help?

update: i found the problem but along with it came more problems

its turns out that the usb ports are not working, not one of them so now i have a bigger problem

please help
