All my vids are...green, wtf?!

Ok, when i go to play a video or anything with a .wmv or wav format its just a green screen with audio. i tried EVERYTHING i searched for drivers, but i had the latest so...help?
 
Turn the accelerated video off or w/e in windows media player, under settings/preference in the performance tab.
 
sounds like a missing or corrupted codec, download the k-lite codec pack and see if it works.
