"allow blocked content"

hey,
i'm using interent explorer 8 and i've made myself a homepage using notepad, on this page it has buttons linked to my favourite sites and it uses java. everytime i click home i have to allow blocked content is there anyway i can make it allow it automaticly?

Go into the internet options, and change it to automatically allow content.

yhae but then i it keeps saying "security risk" and stuff

you could go to internet options, privacy, sites, and then add in your site to the allow list

yeah but its not a website its a html document on my C drive... and i dont know how to add that?
