Im hoping to get the family computer built this week. Last week I got my RAM (G. Skill 6GB RAM, thanks to you guys). All I have left to get is the i7 920 and a video card. At Best Buy they have a sale on the 4890 for 190. Im thinking of picking that up while its still on sale. After watching some reviews on the 4890, i think it will be a good video card. I dont think the fam (including my 2 brothers) would be really concerned with DX11 or any of the techie stuff we speak on here. Other than that, I think this will be a solid build. Just a recap, this is what i have right now for the build:
Corsair TX750 Power supply
ASUS P6T SE Motherboard LGA 1366
G. Skill 6 GB RAM (3x2GB)
Antec 902 (got on sale for 106 at Best Buy)
Western Digital 1 TB Hard Drive
The i7 920 and video card will be purchased this week since i just got paid from a recent DJ gig. Let me know what you think as far as the video card is concerned. That's my only debate. I still have to get the DVD drive but thats not an issue.
