Alt key now activates start menu instead of the windows key(problem)

I just noticed a very weird problem where my Alt key now brings up the Start menu instead of the Windows key. Its frustrating because I have to use the Alt key in FSX for the in game menu and because it now activates the start menu it automatically forces FSX to exit full screen. I think this was ether a problem/change brought on by a Windows 10 update or something I did unknowingly by mistake. Anyone know how to fix this?

Did your keyboard language get changed maybe?

What keyboard? Laptop or desktop? Try a different keyboard?

Also are Alt and Win swapped? Does Win key function as Alt now?

The Keyboard is 2.4Ghz wireless iClever brand and I'm on my HP Elitedesk 800 desktop PC. The Start key seems to do nothing unless I'm in file explorer and makes a series of letters and numbers appear above and the home tab gets highlighted in orange. I think this may be a keyboard specific issue because I can press the Windows key on my older RII wireless keyboard and it activates the start menu normally. I don't typically use the RII keyboard anymore because a bunch of the keys no longer work after spilling a drink on it one time.
