alt tab

everytime i alt tab my computer stops for about half a second. not sure whats wrong but if anyone can help that would be great. thanks
 
game to desktop. but the only thing is that is only does this when playing counter strike on the pc. any other game can runs fine :(
 
More CPU usage in that game then the others? It happens on highend games on my old comp yet to happen with my new one.
 
thats what someone else told me but i can run the newer games(fear, GRAW, WoW) with no stop time. and i mean come on its conter strike lol but thanks

my specs - amd 3200+, x800 pro, 1g of ram
 
I have another problem pretty similar to the one described in the first message.

When playing Wow, then I some times press alt+tab, sometimes it works out fine, but some other times. Wow frezzes and then if I press ctrl+alt+del I can get it up running, but it lags bigtime.

What is the problem?

i had the same problem with my old pc. but it was due to low ram, but thats not the problem i am having :( lol
 
512 is good enough to play it but in order to do what you are talking about faster and no lag on wow you need 1g of ram. do that and everything you throw at it your computer can handle :)

btw you will be amazed how much it helps
