Alternate mounting for PCI-E cards

I am looking for a way to mount PCI-E/PCI cards in a radical manner. I would like to mount them off the motherboard so that the card is parallel to the motherboard.

I used to have a PCI converter that went 90 degrees from an old Macintosh. However, it was very short, so most any card would practically lay on the motherboard.

For PCIe: http://www.logicsupply.com/products/pcie_101l_16

You will probably only be able to use 1 at a time unless you have low profile cards in them. For the non-low profile risers, you should be able to get a low profile riser in beneath it.

Here's a bunch, some will split 1 slot into 2: http://www.logicsupply.com/categories/accessories/pci_riser_cards

Check the compatability before you buy anything, I was looking a bit more at them after I posted this and some say they work with VIA EPIA boards

Thanks for the info

Thanks everybody for the good info. I had never seen a riser card before and that seems to be exactly what I need. Once I actually finish the full design for the rig I want to build, I'll post so yall can see. As a teaser, I'll let you know it a homage to the final season of BSG.
