alternative to a mouse

is there any alternative? i use my compute all day every day and its really taking an effect on me.

and i have to use my computer as much as i do and theres no cutting down i have to use it.

any ideas would be great. thanks!

window's is pretty much based on using a mouse. as for the touchscreen thingy.. I dont know if they have monitors for that.. but for only $2300 you can get a 17" industrial touchscreen, wich can control your pc over ethernet

The drawing panel you speak of is a digital tablet. I have one, and it's nice for certain things, but not for constant everyday use.

thanks guys im looking into the logitech scroll ball thing and i think i might get one of them. i have a tablet but i just use that for when im using photpshop etc.

its really sad but my arms just ache! and i do this everyday with ot fail so a change would be nice! thanks guys!

Why not look into a tablet? I helped one of my friends get a computer and she purchased a tablet to go along with it. Some people really like using the pen, but many also come with a mouse you can use(must be over the tablet) But what's really nice, some of the nicer ones can be used without batteries. So you have a wireless mouse that never needs it's batteries replaced I thought about trying to find one with a broken pen just for that reason!
