Am I Getting The Best For The Money?

Hey, i am building a new computer for gaming. I was thinking of going with X2 3800+, 1gb ram, x850xt and a 250GB hdd. My budget is $615 exactly. But is this the best setup for $615? If not could you guys help me out and cinfigure a computer for me off newegg? Please dont build me a $800 computer and tell me to save up. Thanks.

Are you using the same video card you have now, or are you talking about buying a new x850XT?

IM buying a new one. As of now I only have a ATI All in woner 7500 so thats garbage. Im getting a whole new computer.

If your buying a new one, I really would look into the x1K series if you can afford it. But if not, the x850XT will work great to.

The only 1k series card i can afford is the 1600Pro but im not sure if it is better then the x850xt.

Oh, I see.

Well the x1600PRO wouldn't be worth it, I had it and it's much worse then the 7600GS or x850XT.

Just as an example, with my x1600PRO build I got 6770 in 3DMark03, but with my x850XT PE I got around 12200.
