am2+/am3 mobo

hey everyone!
im lookin to do some crossfie action for my computer
but right now i have the m3a78-em...matx with only 1 slot
i cant seem to find a GOOD GAMING atx motherboard
that is compatible with am2+ and am3!
so im just wondering what your opinions are...
price isnt much of an issue
i just dont wanna get a new proc. it seems like yesterday i got the 9950!
but i would like to have the option of upgrading in the future ya know???
i read somewhere that msi am2+ motherboards are completely compatable with am3s??? and also im not a motherboard guru but im guessing that if i got an am2+/am3 motherboard would it only do ddr2? or would it do ddr3???

DDR3 RAM - twice as fast as DDR2 RAM

I'm still a greenhorn on all this stuff - but I'd get the DDR3 AM3 socket b/c of that. Leave more room for processor upgrade without being bottlenecked by RAM speed. The AM2 AM2+ MOBO's I've seen all run DDR2.

If you want to run DDR3 your only choice is a AM3 board. AM3 processors will run on both AM2+ and AM3 boards ( if the AM2+ bios give a AM3 support update) AM2+ processors will not fit a AM3 DDR3 board.

Looking for a good crossfire board with 8X-8X in crossfire.
AM2+ with DDR2/ will run AM3 processors
