am2 mobo choices

im just wondering whether its worthit to go SLI. I'm only buying one GPU, but im thinking that in the future i can buy another to use as a dedicated physics processor. However, do i need SLI to do this? Do I even need 2 PCI-E x 16 slots? will pci-e x1 or x4 work just as well?

as for using pciex4 or x1 i dont believe you can do that (although im not positive im 90 percent sure) i think you need 2 x16 slots available.
