I am looking to buy an AM2 motherboard, but I don't feel confident in my own skills to choose one. This is what I need:
4 DDR2 slots
at least 2 usable PCI slots
no wacky NB heatsink that obscures or limits capacity
Parallel port
Firewire
SATAII
ATA (2 prefered, but 1 is OK--I will be using a PATA hard drive, but I can get a converter to SATA)
Firewire and Parallel ports are the biggest things that I need.
Budget is around $100, no more than $120.
