AM2 Sockets

So Does any one have the AM2 socket prcoessors/mobos around here? I have a 4000+ X2 AM2 w/ M2N SLI Deluxe Mobo, and o'clocking sucks, I would say. I only got it up to 2.2ghz.
 
I have an Athlon 64 X2 4600+ on an Asrock ALiveSATA2-GLAN.

I've read that the 4600+ can be overclocked quite easily on stock cooling but I haven't tried because I don't need anymore out of it

I have recently read a post where someone is running their 4000+ at 3.0GHz and it's stable. You might want to try asking here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/

Which 4600+ are you running? Windsor? Brisbane? Whats' the L2 cache?
 
I,ve built alot of 939s and AM2s and in general the 939s seem to clock alittle better. AM2s seem to get alittle over a 200mhz overclock then you need to bump the voltage alittle and 939s seem to get around 250 to 270mhz overclock before you needed more voltage. Now I,m talking about X2s not single cores
