amd 64 x2 5000+brisbane upgrade?

hi im looking to upgrade my amd 64 x2 5000+ 65mn brisbane 2.6 mhz im looking on geting a amd ii x2 model im looking for somthink future proof amd ii x2 245? 250? 255? are dees good upgrade options it will be for some casuel gaming and surfing!will go with 2gb ocz 6400 platium edition gona upgrade to 4gb! hd3670 and 250gb hard drive any ideas? thanks
 
I would just save up and get a quad core if you could, but if not I have a friend that recently bought a 250 and it has worked out nicely for him.
