AMD athlon 2000+ XP processor

It looks like it's supposed to be at 1.67 GHz (well, technically 1.666666...) Are you sure that it isn't at that?

anyway, it says its meant to be 1.7ghz but it only runs at 1.6 and he needs it to run at 1.7 to run battlefield 2 beucase i wont let him run it at 1.6

Nooo...that processessor is made to run at 1.67... Have you tried to run it or just assuming that it won't because of the speed. Not many new programs are limited to the requirements like this unless you are really under them

my friend has a AMD athlon 2000+ XP processor, it is meant to run at 1.7ghz but it only runs at 1.6, can someone tell me why?
Because it's not meant to run either speed. It runs 1.67Ghz ... some programs truncate, some round.

it says its meant to be 1.7ghz
Well whatever says that is wrong. Its supposed to be:
