whats the difference between a normal amd athlon 64 and a amd athlon 64 winchester i know normal athlon 64 are 130nm and winchesters are 90nm, what does this mean?!?! is it worth me gettin a winchester or a normal chip theres only $2 price difference in it

I've read that the 90nm is faster from around %1 - %7.. you can google search it.. put in the search bar something like "90nm Vs 130nm" you should get lots of info on the subject.

The Winchester is a "normal" athlon. "Winchester" is just a codename for the core. The Winchester is the exact same as the older Newcastle core but its just designed off the 90nm process like the Prescotts rather than the 130nm process.
