jancz3rt <b>VIP Member</b> Feb 3, 2005 #2 Well.. I am not 100% sure but it's the way the core is engineered. The smaller the Nm value, the more transistors can be fitted I think. In other words...older processors use the 130Nm process while the new ones use the 90Nm process. JAN
