This is my first time on any forum so if I do any thing wrong please bare with me. My pc is old but do everything I need it to do. The problem I have is my processor is bust. It is a AMD Athlon 64X2. It has 929 pins on the back. I have been searching online for a replacement but cannot match the number on the front exactly. It starts ADA4600. I have found ADA 3800 and other over ADA4600. Can anyone help I can fix things myself but getting the right one is my problem. It also has 2001 printed on it. Really don't have the money for new pc. Thanks busterblood25.

You mean it's a socket 939. If you're looking for one of those, look for something like an Athlon 64 X2 3800+ or 4000+. Don't bother searching for the advanced model number.

Do you know what motherboard model it is? That way we could know what exact processors it supported. Socket 939 had from a Athlon X2 3800 through the Athlon X2 4800. Plus there were the FXs, think the last was the FX-60.
