Hi all!
I managed to install XP Pro today and everything is working 'cool'. But, however, as usual, there HAS to be something wrong, lol.
When it POST's it comes up as the CPU being an 1800+ when infact, it should be a 2400+. It also says that the CPE External Frequency is 100 Mhz, when the FSB should be 266 Mhz. I have updated the BIOS and nope, still no luck. Is this a known problem?
My motherboard is an ASUS A7N8X-X and I have checked the jumpers, and it is set to default (FSB 400,333,266).
Is there any software that I can download to detect what it truly is?
Thanks,
Tim.
