weak points in either build?

see anything that can be downgraded to save a few bucks?

is there a huge difference between the P31 and the P35 motherboards? is one better if i plan to upgrade later in the future?

4 gigs of RAM with a E4500 is overkill. You may consider a spending a ilttle more on one of the new E8000s from Intel

yea with that build the nicest part about ur computer is the ram haha. The problem is that the ram wont be used to its full potential.

True, definitely overkill. He should look into one of the cheaper 45nm core CPUs

ha yeah...well i already have the 4gigs layin around, so im just gonna throw it in one of those builds...

would there be a big difference between the E4500 and the E4600? (2.2 to 2.4)

no offense jlv but you are way too proud of that e8400, any time anyone ever has a build you tell them to switch to that cpu. he didnt ask for a different cpu, he asked which on of the 2 he listed was a better deal.

With the release of the new 45nm CPUs, Intel takes another step past AMD in the processor market. Their superior CPUs use less power and cool better, and have a larger cache size for more efficient processing. Intel seems to be the way to go, though, if you are on a budget, AMD may be more attractive to you.
