I am in favor of the MSI 870S-G54. I have the 870A-G54 and it is running wonders with My AMD Phenom II 955 3.2GHz The only problem with it is the ram and that is because I got the cpu last and it is C2 stepping and not C3 so the CPU doesnt support the 1600 DDR3 module so it is a compatability issue with the CPU and the ram, not the mobo

But I think it runs awesome, hasnt given me any problems.

CPU + Mobo - since you are going to get aftermarket heatsink, you can get cheaper oem cpu.
