Need abit of help choosing.

My current cpu is AMD x4 955 which ive now needed to send back due to warrenty reasons.

Now Dabs.com has stopped selling this cpu and i need to choose another AM3 or AM3+ cpu.

The only black edition dabs.com are selling now it either

X4 960T 3.0GHz
or
X6 1075T

or the new bulldozer
AMD FX-6100

not sure which one will be on par with my old x4 955 which was o/c to 3.6GHz.

Need to stick with AMD as this is my motherboard i have that supports AM2/AM3 and AM3+
 
What motherboard do you have. If its a AM3, chances are it doesnt support the Zambezi. Between the Phenom II 1075 and the Phenom II 960T. The 960T. Just make sure you have a bios update for it.
 
I'd go with a Phenom 2 processor over Bulldozer regardless of the motherboard you have. Either the 1075T or 960T would work well, although the 960T may be a better overclocker, with a chance of unlocking the 2 extra cores.

I don't think so. Since there are risks of unlocking the processor.
I think although 1075T is not Black Edition and has a lower frequency, it's a real 6-core processor and you can still overclock it to increase the frequency.

In that case, get the FX-6100 and overclock the crap out of it. It can do 4.5/4.6ghz. easy. The Phenom II is alittle faster clock for clock but the Zambezi can over take it because it overclocks so much better.
