AMD dual core mobo?

Are there any Mothebroards out there that support AMD dual core but run on DDR not DDR 2 ??

Socket 939

unless you want to use the 939 socket no. all of the AM2 X2's use ddr2. that was the reason the changed the socket.

ASRock makes a motherboard that you can use DDR or DDR2 with either 939 or AM2.

Depending on the processor, with a AM2 it has support for DDR and DDR2 in the memory controller but if your running a 939 it only supports DDR

Theres a motherboard by ASRock that supports both 939 and AM2, and it has DDR and DDR2

Yea I know the board has both and the memory controller on the AM2 supports both DDR and DDR2, but the 939 memory controller only supports DDR not DDR2 so it doesnt matter if the board has DDR2 if your running a 939

well you'll be limited to socket 939 stuff anyway; however as i recently found its getting tough to get hold of these boards as i found out today.

If i buy an OEM CPU is there a specific fan i need or just any fan that is for socet 939??

just one that supports socket 939.. they're all usually better than the stock on anyway
