AMD Duron Max Temps???

just finished playing a bit of a racing game on dads computer
Game was Nascar Thunder 2004

Computer is
AMD Duron 1300+( i think) CPU_Z says its runing at 11ooMhz
ECS K7SOM+
512 ram
Intigrated video
NO CASE FANS :eek:

just open MBM5 asnt is saying that the case temp is 38*C and CPU is 58*c (now 53*C been a bit to get here and type it up)

Whats the most that this Baby should get to?

going to pick up a case fan for it but would still like to know what Max , average ect temps are for this CPU

Well highest safe temp is probly 60C...but highest WANTED temp would probably be ~45C. It's a duron so it will get hot, and i mean it's got no case fans and probably crappy stock cooling...so under 50C might be hard to get without a better HSF.

CPU_Z i belive quoted it at 1.808V, 11.0X Multiplier, FSB 100MHz

its fine how it is for him(dad) so i will just dump a case fan or 2 in and clen up the wires some and see what that gets for temps

oh room temp is about 22*C there i belive

no im not posative on that for some reason its stuck in my head that the fan on the cpu has 1300+ on it lol

Fans dont usually spec the proc ... it might be "Rated for up to Duron 1300+" :)
