But it still is a little expensive. An i5 can be had at Microcenter for $170, plus $50 off a motherboard. But if you already have an AMD motherboard (Assuming its an AM3+ or an AM3 that supports FX with a BIOS update) then yes, a 8320 is the way to go.

In all those links there was an OBVIOUS gpu bottleneck, there's no way all those CPU's are within 1-2 FPS of each other in real life.

Fair enough. The overclockers club only had a regular 660, but the MaxPC had a 580, which I doubt is a bottleneck in most cases.
And in your benches, all scores were over 60fps, so I only see a difference if you have a monitor over 60hz.
That being said, I still would go with the 3570k if I were to build a new system, but that's only because a Microcenter is near me and its only $170 there.
