Um, 1400$ in which currency? if you're thinking CAD or USD, 1400 is enough in either currency to get i7, a 4890 or 275, 4GB RAM, etc.. 1000 is still enough for i7 but probably not as good, and so on, the price difference would be 100-200 difference at most, comparing a C2Q rig to a Phenom II rig and 200-300 comparing i7 to Phenom II
I mean USD. I'd assume ppl refer to USD unless they state. My estimate for a decent gaming set-up for Core i7 cost around $1300 - $1400 (with monitor/ OS)...
