AMD Phenom 2 810 vs 940

Could anyone help? I'm not sure if the Phenom 2 810 is the processor to go for or the 940 is the one i should stick with? :confused:

For the i7 I know many suggest buying the 920. It's a good over-clocker and it is cheapest out of all three i7's.

If you want to use DDR3, you have to go with the 810. If you want to upgrade to DDR3 later on, you have to go with the 810. If your satisfied with DDR2 and not planing on upgrading for awhile, go with the 940. Myself I would rather have the 720 then the 810.
 
This 720 runs stable with 1.425V at 3.7ghz, far as I can go with this board. Think most 810s will hit 3.5ghz. pretty easy.

What does this have to do with buying an AMD PHENOM II?

On topic:
I would personally go for the 940, as it's unlocked.
Unless you're on a very tight budget, then the 810 seems the way to go.

I made a mistake and thought he was comparing the i7 940 to the Phenom.
