AMD releases socket AM3

WELL I WAS JuST CHECKING NEWEGG OUT AND CAME ACROSS this NICE AM3 DDR3 Motherboards

Now we can see true results from the PII and see how much the ram and chipset will effect the performance.

It still uses the AMD 790FX chipset though, so all it is is an AM2+ board with DDR3 sockets instead of DDR2.

Which means its a AM3 board, DDR3/AM3 hint, plus the socket only has 938 pin holes. AMDs memory controller is on the processor, the northbridge has nothing to do with if its a AM2/+ or AM3. There is nothing wrong with the 700 series so why not? Plus they are releasing the 800 series chipset pretty soon.
