AMD Sempron 2.2 GHz

not really. basically, you could technically overclock it but any performance increase would be too small to notice.
 
What Sempron and Gigabyte board is this. The Semprons I,ve had overclocked pretty good. You will gain just as much from stock, overclocking as any other processor.

He asked if he could overclock, not if it would be beneficial to overclock. :)

You can absolutely overclock a Sempron, but it depends which Gigabyte motherboard you have.

Those semprons are good processors,even back to the old socket a versions.
i gamed on mine lol.

But yeah they can be overclocked and i think you would actualy notice a performance increase.
