what is this talk about AM3, why would AMD come out with this 8 months after AM2 is released, they are screweing all of us that have put money into AM2 builds thinking it will be here and solid for the next few years.

excuse me for interrupting your little comment there, but when exactly is K8L being released, whatrs the Q1-2 of 2007, yeh, so when is conroe being released, say, 2 weeks away, max.... so your trying to compare "todays chip" with next years chip, thats about the smartest thing ive heard all day... In addition to that, you have no clue what intel will release a few months AFTER K8L is released....YEA_PC_PHONICS said:i think i decided just to wait for K8l because im gettin tired of all this mess. K8l will blow conroe out da water and intel knows it.
they're hardware bugs, not software bugs, you cant just patch them up, you have to wait until the company, in this case AMd, releases an updated model, ni this case AM3...ReturnToEmpire said:ok that sounds good but why cant AMD release new bioses and stuff, in order to get rid of my bugs im gonna have to buy a new motherboard and processor? That seems pretty costly to me.
especially for people who have gone with AM2 already. seems like they are costing me more money every other week. just to have a nice computer
