I played it an thought it was very drawn out, you have to do the dumb slow training missions, then you get in the game, you die and have to wait 15 minutes for a respawn.... for a free game its ok... but overall i give it a 2/10

I use to play the free version back in the day and it was pretty fun.
well bro its the best FPS game ever made to be fair with you. its very realistic! every thing but blood splatter. all because of young kids. see the goverment puts 5 mill a year into this game. so yes us tax payers are paying for it. you can go to www.americasarmy.com and download it free! but its still tax money if you know what i mean lol.
it is a FPS game. it has more grafix then you can ask for in a game. no blotchy BS. and another thing. no flying monkeys or robots! from what i read up on they made this game for the army to train on. then brought it out to the public. so you can understand how real this game has to be for the army to train on it. every thing from the gun sounds to the nades going off is all real audio from that gun.
i thought there had to be a better game out there because i hated FPS games so dam bad till i played americas army. i went out and bought battel field V. i played that for 4 hours and it collected dust. then i went out and bought F.E.A.R. guess what. its on the shelf. so i decided to stop buying games for 50-60$ and stuck with my tax payer game/free download. its the best game out there and there are over 6 million signed up players. there are about 20-30 maps to play on hehe. its just the best.

How can FEAR and any battlefield take a backseat to AA? They have more weapons, better graphics, faster respawns, bigger maps, more servers, tons more people. IMHO i think your just trying to advertise AA because in reality its nowhere near as good as your making it out to be. Plus the download takes about 8 hours unless you subscribe to fileplanet or something. (I have a 6mb connection).

I hate that game in every way 
-Boring game play(long respawn time)
-I don't like the idea of the government targeting kids through the stuff they enjoy. In this case video games. It doesn't make me want to join the army though
-You can only play as the americans and the other team always appears to you as middle eastern. The other team sees you as middle eastern and themselves as american.

The government will send you a copy on CD lol. Along with a bunch of Army advertisements
dont understand how you can say this. fear has the worst graphics ever. it blotchy and lags to much. as for battfiled thats not a bad game. but comes no where to compair to AA. as for you saying im advertising. haha come on bro. you dont have to go to file planet or subscribe to anything. just go to www.aaotracker.com and get it. i was simply telling BLUE what the game was like. he asked i gave him info.
EDIT: oh another thing. as for lag. AA lags a bit. but tell me one game ever made that dont lag. i run a 7 meg connection and still i lagged a very small bit. i play with guys on dial up that own me all the time. they even say the lag isnt bad even on dial up.

Am I the only one disturbed with the army trying to recruit kids in sneaky, dirty ways?!!! I think that alone should keep people from playing this game. It's sick, nasty, cruel, and slimey . but I'm only 13 so what do I know... I also wouldn't be surprised if this guy works for the recruiting peoples

Besides the fact you have a 6600 and that might be why its 'blotchy", fear has some awesome graphics. However, if you think the graphics in AA are better than fear, you might want to get a pair of these.
As for gameplay, its pretty pointless. You have to do 6 (something like that) slow missions and so forth, just to play multiplayer. (and even then I couldnt because the game ****ed up on me) The multiplayer then has ranking within it so you can only play certain levels. As other have said, its also got slow respond time. Anyone else ticked off that it technically ONLY has ONE gun. The m4a1 is a great rifle, but jesus, the army has more guns then that. I dont know about you, but this shouldnt even be classified as a game. Its advertisement for christ's sake.
The only good thing is that its free. I suggest if your into military gameplay go for like a socom game or bf2.
All in all, I played through it, tried the multiplayer, and if you like it. Have fun. Ill stick with my preferred games.
Oh, and welcome to the forums ruffy.
lol its a game. if this game makes you brainwashed from palying it and the little voices tell you to join the army you may have some issues. just saying

. But yea it is fair to draw comparisons I suppose. Just remember it is just all opinion, were all entitled to our own.

Everyones a conspiracy theorist gee just because the army puts out a game they are trying to brainwash kids? alright the army already had advertisements out putting them into a game is no worse than the Nvidia logo we see at the beginning of almost every game we play or what about all the small ads we see throughout the game? Really it's more of an informational tool to kids it shows what the army is going to be like, long and boring, jokes aside if you've actually ever played some of the training mission beyond what you have to(yea right I now)they actually teach you real-life things and give a lot of information on the armies tactics and information(things like how different tanks are identified and how a special forces team is organized to name a few)and to some people it is a valuable insight to a possible career choice.

It does not make me want to join the army in any way. I hear no voices and know I have no issues. I just get ticked off when the government pulls sneaky sh*t and causes kids to get killed
