ok my computer in my room is an amd altgon xp 1500 its clocking at 1.33ghz
and what is th normal ghz it is susposto
MY ROOM COMP SPECS
AMD ALTHON XP 1500+
40GB HD
256MB SDDR RAM
64MB G FORCE GAFIIX CARD
DVD ROM
CD/CDRW COMBO

AMDs numbers (ie 1500+) don't mean the clock speed. They call it the performance rating that was originally designed to specify what Intel clock speed a chip should be compared to for 'actual' speed. AMD's marketers found that people saw a 1.6GHz chip and said "I can get a 2.0GHz over here" when the two chips actually perform roughly the same. They made the Performance Rating toc ombat this and it worked very well

Because that is the clock speed. Re-read what Cromwell said about the performance rating. AMD 1500+ = 1.33GHz clock speed. Just like my 2000+ AMD runs at 1.67GHz.

It says 1.3 because it rounds it up. I have it at 1950 Mhz and it tells me (bootup) that it runs at 2000Mhz. I know that's not really true, but hey it rounded it up upwards :). It makes me feel better.
