And for my next GPU upgrade...

What should be my next GPU? It will be in my current system in my sig. I know that the radeon 5000 series is coming out and i'm keen on getting a 4870 or Nvidia equivalent once the rest of my system is up to scratch, namely my CPU and PSU.
What do you think would be a good GPU upgrade? I'll be making a purchase within 2 months but i'm undecided on what to buy... maybe i should just upgrade my CPU first? It is lacking a bit... maybe a Core 2 Extreme? (my board supports an X6800 which is damn good i hear)

What should i do? CPU or GPU first?

nah forget a core 2 extreme its a waste of money...if you want to stick with skt lga 775 then get a Q9450...and what you save put towards a better vid card.

look into getting a 4890 or 275.

My board doesn't support quads, unfortunately. thats why i mentioned a C2E.
I'll look into that 4890... actually, how many power connections does it need? 6+8-pin?
