animated animals?

this one is kind of confusing to me. and i could not find anything through google
my wife is wanting a program to make animals and such dance to whatever music you play
our baby girl loves the ending of madagascar because of the animals dancing to the music, so my wife wants to make some more stuff like that of our own

is there any programs that anyone knows about that could do something like this?
i appreciate any/all help on this one

You would have to learn how to make 3D models and animate them.

Which will probably need Flash or another program to make it.

Microsoft windows has a PLUS addon that has a dancing person on the desktop as a feature, but I don't know if they have any animals.

you would need like Cinema 4D or Maya

3D studio max is a thing of the past now, maya is what's of the future.

It could be easier to get something that already done that. As an example, winamp has many plug-ings such as animals dancing to the beat of the music you play. That might be an option. Another is possible a screensaver that plays a certain music file when it is turned on. Etc.

I think I have a plugin for Winamp of some Black & White creatures dancing.

You would have to learn how to make 3D models and animate them.

And then you'd have to make a skeleton for 'em, textures and render the animation.

I know but I was just giving some of the basics, I should know I use Maya.
