Annoying Password Request

When I try to log into some sites on the upper left side of my screen a pop up that reads; Would you like to remember the password for " My Name " on the "Website Name ". When it pops up it deletes the last digit of my password, then I can't log in.
I have Windows 8
Mozzilla Firefox
I have no add ons that pertain to passwords. Is this a Windows thing?
 
Firefox (and other browsers) have the ability to store passwords. It's just Firefox asking if you want to save your password. You can always click the arrow and say "Never for this site".

Probably when you first told it to remember your password you entered the password wrong. Just log in and it will ask if you want to update the password.
