I HAVE A POP UP ADVERT THAT HAS BEEN LOADED INTO MY BOOT MENU FROM MSN [assholes].
I HAVE USED FIVE SPYWARE PROGRAMS / AVG 7 ANTIVIRUS / ZONE ALARM FIREWALL / AD AWARE.
I HAVE SET MY IE TO BLOCK THE ADDRESS ES USED BY THESE ADS.

BUT STILL THEY KEEP POPPING UP.
THEY EVEN COME UP WHEN IM NOT CONNECTED.

ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROB AND MANAGED TO CURE IT?

MY SYSTEM IS ADEQUATELY SECURED SO I'M NOT WORRIED IN THAT SENSE ITS JUST ANNOYING COS THEY ARE SET TO BE 'ALWAYS ON TOP'

when the pop up pops up, take a screenshot and post it back on here. i think i know what your on about, but im not certain.

I cant do anything with the screen apart from open the links [which I aint gonna do] or close it down.
Also kept getting a warning sign popping up saying ''faild to process''
and yes it was spealt like that, thats how I knew twas dodgy.

I dont see how you would of got spyware through msn messenger unless you got it off someone in your contact list.

The Pop-ups keep poping up becuase there is Adware files on your computer and hidden within your registry...I suggest a registry cleaner

Do this to turn off the messenger service:

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel (or point to Settings, and then click Control Panel).
2. Double-click Administrative Tools.
3. Double-click Services.
4. Double-click Messenger.
5. In the Startup type list, click Disabled.
6. Click Stop, and then click OK.
