My job requires multi task and to move from program A to B to C and open internet explorer, run a search and have multiple windows open. At times I have to do all this with Updates and Installations being done to the machine. Then what really piss me off and slows me down is that I open a window in internet explorer and while it loads I go to another window or program and then once the page finish loading it comes on top of everything, so I have to click back to my program in the tray at the bottom and then an update finish or starts or asks me something and it pop up in front of what I’m doing or reading taking my concentration away.
Is there a way to avoid this sort of things and just run smooth with my work and eventually I’ll get to what the program needs without it getting in my way?
