annoying!!!

I recently loaded Notron av/firewall. Now my computer seems to be running slower, but that is not my problem. Everytime I click an icon or load a new page i have to click on that new page for my mouse to work. don't know if i explained it right. Say i am on this forum and i click on a thread, when the new thread comes on the screen i will have to click on the screen before i can do anything. this is annoying on ebay, everytime i click somewhere new i have to reclick on the new page and end up clicking on something else by mistake. Anyway to fix this? i am running xp home with ie7, i looked around the tab settings and found nothing. help!!
 
I don't use Norton, I use McAffee and it makes the computer much faster. This might fix the problem. You could always reinstall and see if that is the problem.
 
I highly recommend NOT using Norton OR McAffee. AVG or Kaspersky is a much better idea. Both Norton and the Mc are not the best, they cost too much and are resource hogs.
 
AVG is free for part of it (the good part, its what i use) and Kaspersky is one of the best, it isnt a lot i dont think. If you just want a free one, then AVG is the way to go.

well i just paid $60 last week for Norton and I just erased it all from my computer. the speed is def. faster without it. i downloaded and installed AVG, but only a 30 trial is free then you have to pay to use it. where did you get it for free?the clicking on pages is half fixed now though..
