Another BF 2 Q`

Sorry, I know these get a little annoying

Anyway, so I got the game to play great and all in 1 player, but when i go to play online, when the mnap has loaded and everything, and i click join gma eit tells me that the server does not allow modified versions of the game and that I should revert back to my original settings...or something like that

well i didnt change anything that im aware of, so im like wtf after teh 3rd time it does it

does anyone have any ideas on what is goin on?

Had similar trouble, but the message was more like "this server does only allow initial unmodified profile". However, the on-line gaming is accepted by most of other servers I've tried (check in ur list if you have "1st rangers" for instance and try it ).

I have no actual clue of the meaning of this message, but I assume it has something to do with the fact that by firt installing and playing the game, you have satretd to create a profile for off-line gaming (and thus had to creat a new one for on-line gaming, correct ?)
 
nah that wasn't it, i just had to download the patch, that was all, thanks for all the help though

and for those of you wonderin if u should get BF2 the answer is yes...its a sweet game
