I am getting another blue screen of death just out of the blue when I try to open any program on my wife's PC.. Nothing has changed on the computer that I know of, and I get the following message..

"A problem has been detected and windows had been shut down to prevent and damage to your computer...

DRIVER_IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

win32k.sys (Some memory address here)
dump_wmi.sys (Another memory address here)

Beginning dump of physical memory
Dumping physical memory to disk: (And it starts adding up till 100% then re-boots)"

Any ideas, I am completely stumped with this error...

Oh man, this bluescreen can be usually caused by drivers (as mentioned) overheating of the cpu (rarely), and bad ram( i had this).

http://www.memtest86.com/

go there and on the left hand side click free download find the right thing for you and run memtest86 over night. this will check ur ram.

it is a bootdisk, so u need to restart comp and stuff.
