Another Firefox update !

I just had to give it a try to compare it to FF 1.5. The bottom border seems to have grown a little in an upward direction upon first inspection. All settings are still present including the home page, favorites, and links.

So aside from that little "bottom bar rising" criticism, what updates does 2.0 actually have?

So far the menu freezes up when dragging bookmarks onto the bookmark toolbar. As soon as you close the right click menu for customizing which options will be visible nothing but the pre-existing links work and you can close it out. They still have a glitch to work on the beta there.

I didn't have problems with 2.0 yet !!
I think it's great.... specially the restore session part .... and the spell checker.

What happened here was trying to update 1.0.7exe installation with the 2.0 you found. If you run it straight with a fresh install not an upgrade you run it as a beta that way. Fortunately 1.5 went right back on and retained the original settings as it had before. 2.0 is beta now with the upcoming release of Vista in january 2007.

i love the restore feature, the beta 1 froze all the time for me, luckily the restore never failed me, beta 2 decreased the freezes but i still got the occasional one for no reason.

Well when you decide to remove the beta you can still find the working 1.5 at http://www.mozilla.com/ It has a working popup blocker in it too.
