another hd question

whats the price difference? if there about the same, i'd go with the 60gb 7200rpm.

and is this for a desktop or laptop?

if the price is the same get the 7200 you will notice a big differnce in speed and is it for a desktop or a laptop

i would go with the 7200rpm if you plan to do alot of things such as gaming, image/video/audio editing, ect. but if your just using it for the basics, i would go for either the 100gb 5400rpm or the 80gb 5400rpm.

well i mainly will burn dvds cds, surf the internet and school work so you think i wouldnt need the extra speed that i wont notice the speed increase

thye 7200 will load programs faster, but you would probably be better off with a 100gb 5400rpm, especially since its cheaper.

if your doing just what you told us and no gaming get the larger harddrive with the lower rpms and that should be fine for you
