Antec 750w earthwatts powering 2 6950's?

Link which one you have, cause there are 2 different ones. The more common one, which I have, does not have enough power on the 12v rail to run 2 cards plus the CPU.

I know it says CF certified, but it was certified that way long before the 6xxx series came out. Definitely feel free to try it but seriously the power going to the cards is very limited. That's why they are earthwatts. They are supposed to be more efficient on energy.

6950 TDP = 200W. Two of those makes 400W. Assuming your CPU is at stock, it is rated for 95W. That's a total of 495W, and that'd only be at 100% load on all components.

The amps rated on the 12v rail are wrong/fake. If it really had 75A total on the 12v rail it would be a 900W PSU. The wattage for +12v is not listed... Looking on Antec's website, it has no wattage listed. That's not helpful.

Assuming the card has enough PCI-E cables (no adapters) you should be fine.

4 x 25A rails = 100A total, or 1200W if you make the mistake of just adding the rails together. It means each rail can have up to 25A on it before it is overloaded, which does not mean that all can be simultaneously at 25A, because obviously, a 750W PSU isn't going to be putting out 1200W.

It is actually 672W max on the 12V rail, or 56A all together.

It will be able to power crossfired 6950's fine
