Hi. Like many psu, on the rear of the case you could possibly feel exhaust air coming out from the psu. However, for this psu, there does not seem to have any airflow blowing outwards at the rear of the psu vents.
Just thinking if this psu is different from most psu in the sense that it intakes from the rear and exhaust on the inside of the case?
Is this normal or could it be a connection fault?
Thanks.

It actually has a 14cm fan on the top of the PSU as opposed to on either side.

In the Antec 900, since the PSU sits on the bottom, just locate the fan and make sure it's facing upward so the fan isn't blocked by the case.

You probably won't feel any exhaust out of the back since the airflow in this PSU is vertical, not horizontal. There's nothing wrong with the PSU (unless you locate the fan on top and it's not rotating).

Without a fan at the rear of the supply the air flow is thrust against the transformer and reflected around inside the casing. You won't feel the same exhast as you would with a rear case fan with that blowing directly outward.

It is a little awkward seeing the bottom fan facing upward like it is in the 900 for sure. Their case design is intended to keep the supply's heat away from the board and not seeing it trapped at the top like seen in many cases.

It's odd seeing a supply at the bottom rather then top rear of a case. But you see more exhast geared to draw heat away from the board and other components that way with the rear 120mm and top 200mm case fans seen. It is a gaming not typical type case where people expect the best air flow and exhaust.
