Antec P180 Weight!

I have been looking for prospective places to buy my Antec P180 from, and never realised that this beastie weighs a whapping 14+ kgs. When comparing this to say the Antec P160, which is listed as weighing 6.5kg, this extra weight seems like an aweful lot.

I have to say though that from the several different sites ive seen both cases listed on, there has been a discrepancy with the weights. one even lists the P160 as 16kgs!, which im sure cant be right?

Can anyone let me know if the listed weight of the P180 and P160 are really 14+kgs and 6.5kgs respectively, as im now kind of put off by the huge weight of the P180. You may ask why?.. but its just the lack of 'portability' with something that heavy... compared to 6.5kg, 6.5kg seems a lot more portable with the P160, and if its 'almost' just as good a case, i may wish to opt for that one instead.

the case i have now is a flimsy, noname furnace of a case, so any half-decent case will be a huge improvement anyway, so going for a P180 might just be overkill? (if the P160 does a good job also) .. i do like the P180, but darn its heavy!

Thoughts?

I too like the 180 but am put off by the weight. The 160 is much lighter because it is alum instead of steel. Alum is also better at heat dissipation. I prefer alum cases but steel is usually cheaper. Also the 180 has very particular psu requirements per Antecs site. The psu sits on the bottom and fan location is important on the psu.

I'd have to say those weight are a bit exaggerated, I picked up a box containing a P180 at CompUSA today with no trouble, it's not really that heavy.
